Thesis Award applications
The application form collects the applicant’s name, date and place of birth, address, contact details, degree and thesis information, and the documents requested in the call (identity document, degree certificate, thesis, transcript, supervisor’s letter, SAE membership proof, Annex A). These data are used only to evaluate applications for the SAENA Thesis Award and to contact applicants about the outcome. They are seen by the award commissioners and the section board, are stored on this website and in the section’s mailbox, and are deleted after the award edition is closed, unless a longer retention is required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to saena@stems.cnr.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
