Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award 2020

The winners of “Premio Miglior Tesi di Laurea 2020" (Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award) are Francesco Penza (Polytechnic University of Bari ) and Marco Piras (University of Naples Federico II) awarded with a cash prize of 500.00 € each one and the participation free of charge at the ICE2021.

The winners of “Premio Miglior Tesi di Laurea” 2017-2018 (Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award) are Carmela Perozziello (University of Naples) and Francesco Accurso (Polytechnic University of Turin) awarded with a cash prize of 500.00 € each one and the participation free of charge at the ICE2019.

Ezio Mancaruso elected President of SAENA

On Monday, September 16th, 2019, Ezio Mancaruso, researcher of Istituto Motori of CNR, Naples, was elected SAE Naples Section President. Ezio declaired: “It is an honour and a privilege to be responsible of an Italian Section of SAE International”.

Premio Formula SAE 2019-2020

La SAE-Naples Section intende supportare i team di Formula SAE ed emana il presente bando per assegnare un premio in denaro ai team che abbiano partecipato alle manifestazioni sportive e dato ampia visibilità a SAENA nel corso del 2019 e 2020. Prof. Federico Millo has been appointed SAE Fellow

We are proud to announce that prof. Federico Millo, Vice Chair Geographical Division of SAE Naples section, has been appointed SAE Fellow. Prof. Millo is the fourth member of SAE Naples to receive this prestigious award, which is granted to long-term members who have made a significant impact on society’s mobility technology through leadership, research, and innovation.

This award will be presented at SAE World Congress 2016 in Detroit

Prof. Fabio Bozza has been appointed Lloyd L. Withrow Distinguished Speaker Award

The intent of the award is to maintain a high level of presentations at SAE technical sessions by recognizing individuals who make outstanding presentations at those sessions. Prof. Fabio Bozza, Vice Chair activity of SAE Naples section, received the Oral Presentation Award more than twice and thus he will receive this award.
This award will be presented at SAE World Congress 2016 in Detroit, April 12, 2016.
